Overseen by the Gibson Custom Shop, the EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Custom Collection Pre-War SJ-200 Rosewood Reissue steel-string acoustic guitar (ECPW200VSGH1) is a replica of the rare Gibson SJ-200 original. The back and sides of models produced before 1947 were made of Rosewood, replaced by Maple after that date.

Traditionally made from premium-grade solid woods, with torrefied Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, mahogany glued neck (Rounded D profile), Ebony fingerboard, L.R. Baggs VTC preamp. The "Thermally Aged" torrefaction process subjects the woods to accelerated drying through exposure to high temperatures. The result is greater stability and resonance.
