The 50 series can be considered the Lowden Custom Shop. Hand-crafted in Ireland from premium-quality solid woods, the LOWDEN Custom Shop F50 ME/SR #26347 is an exceptional Auditorium steel-string acoustic guitar, made with undeniable passion, attention to detail and craftsmanship. The soundboard is made of "Sinker Redwood", which can be considered an exceptional Cedar. Derived from hundred-year-old Sequoias immersed in the depths of rivers, it is a particularly resonant, rich and warm wood.

Macassar Ebony is a dense hardwood that provides clear, powerful and dynamic tones. Bass and lower midrange are full-bodied and solid, treble crystalline and midrange slightly hollowed out like Rosewood. Lowden guitars stand out from the rest of the high-end production by their choice of specific gauges, which do away with the traditional Dreadnought. The range is essentially divided between the O (Jumbo), F (Auditorium) and S (OM / 00) formats.
