The MARTIN & CO Custom Shop CS-OM-C22025441 #2736827 is an exceptional Orchestra Model 14 fret (25.4" scale) steel-string acoustic guitar. The Englemann spruce top, Cocobolo" back and sides, and Ebony fingerboard give this guitar a remarkably well-balanced sound throughout the entire frequency range, with impressively subtle dynamics. All species are naturally solid and meticulously selected for their acoustic and aesthetic qualities. Englemann is a superior quality spruce. Less dense and paler than Sitka or Adirondack, it generates noticeably more mid-range, a softer attack and remarkable clarity, helping to give the guitar a more vintage sound. Cocobolo is a rosewood from the forests of Central America. It is prized for its attractive appearance and generous tonal spectrum, giving the guitars of which it is made a remarkable flexibility of sound and style.
