Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
The PEAVEY Legacy Series Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe Preamp pedal reproduces the vintage sounds of the Lead channel of the second-generation Peavey Bandit 112 and Supreme 160 amplifiers released in the 1990's. If you're a fan of intense Rock, Hard-Rock, Thrash or old-school Metal, rhythmic or solo, you're likely to fall under the spell of its dense, generous and nervous tones.
The Peavey Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe has been designed as a true preamp that will allow you to be the heart of your sound, or complement the channels of your amp. Pre Gain and Post Gain controls allow you to adjust gain and texture (attack, compression) respectively, as well as output level to balance clean and distorted volumes. A highly effective three-band EQ will allow you to sculpt tones with great precision according to your guitar and rig. This is complemented by two switches to activate saturation boost and midrange filtering for even greater flexibility.
Although the Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe runs on a 9V power supply or battery, the circuit voltage is boosted to 18V, giving the circuit the amplitude and dynamics of a genuine amp. Combined with TransTube technology, this feature will be of great interest to guitarists who like to modulate tones by playing with their playing dynamics, and the instrument's volume potentiometer.
