The SADOWSKY MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage J/J Bass, Red Alder Body, 4-String (SML24VJ4 28 ALD FR) perfectly reimagines an iconic solid-body electric bass. Designed in the Warwick workshops, it stands out for its artisanal craftsmanship and high-quality components.

The SML24VJ ALD’s construction features:

An American alder body, offering a consistent and responsive acoustic foundation.
A bolt-on maple neck that ensures ease and comfort when playing.
A Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard set with 21 frets, offering a texture similar to ebony.

These material choices ensure deep bass, rich mids, and clear highs, resulting in a rich and dynamic tonal palette.

Active electronics for authentic vintage tones

The Metroline Vintage J/J Bass is equipped with custom active electronics. Its VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter complements the traditional bass and treble controls, allowing you to attenuate high frequencies for a smoother, warmer sound reminiscent of passive instruments.
