Taylor 214ce Special Edition - honeyburst

Limited-edition electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar, Grand Auditorium cutaway style, made in Mexico. The TAYLOR 214ce Special Edition (Honey Sunburst Matte) features a solid, torrefied Sitka spruce top, a laminated Indian rosewood back and side duo, a neo-tropical mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard and the Expression System ES2 preamp. The Grand Auditorium template (owned by Taylor since 1994) is the consensus. A hybrid between the Grand Concert (00 Classic Classical style) and the indispensable Dreadnought, it is considerably more compact than the latter, which obviously makes for more pleasant ergonomics. Its acoustic amplitude is logically less pronounced, but on the other hand its amplification is easier, with fewer feedback problems.

Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a substantially reworked circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor, around 25% more warmth.
