Taylor 517e Builder's Edition - wild honey burst

The TAYLOR Builder's Edition 517e Wild Honey Burst steel-string acoustic guitar is a Grand Pacific / Dreadnought Round Shoulder equipped with a massive torrefied Sitka Spruce top, a solid Mahogany back and side duo, an Ebony fingerboard and V-Class bracing, representing a landmark evolution in acoustic guitar design.
These innovative bracings, developed by master luthier Andy Powers, give the instrument better projection, tonal balance, intonation and incredible sustain. This is a guitar that's as pleasing to listen to as it is to play, warm and dynamic, with powerful lows and clear mids and highs.

Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a substantially reworked circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor, around 25% more warmth.
