Taylor Custom GA-e V-Class - blackwood

The TAYLOR Custom GA-e V-Class is a sculptural Grand Auditorium-style electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar featuring solid Blackwood top, back and sides, Ebony fingerboard, V-Class bracing and Taylor ES2 pre-amp.
Developed by master luthier Andy Powers, the remarkable V-Class bracing gives the instrument enhanced projection, tonal balance, intonation and incredible sustain. Tasmanian Blackwood is an Acacia with a hybrid acoustic kinship between Hawaiian Koa and Mahogany, with powerful mids that are both clear and warm.
A hint of brilliance reminiscent of Indian Rosewood can also be heard. This species offers beautiful projection, and has the added attraction of being responsibly harvested from protected forests, ensuring a sustainable supply.

Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a substantially reworked circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor, around 25% more warmth.
