This Grand Auditorium electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with cutaway features a Hawaiian Koa top, Hawaiian Koa back and side combo, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.

Koa is a tropical hardwood endemic to the island of Hawaii. It is a dense wood that combines the rich mid-range of mahogany with the brilliance of maple. Instruments made from Koa will inevitably improve with years of use, gaining in warmth, smoothness and openness, and naturally benefit from the V-Class bracing, a landmark development in acoustic guitar design. These innovative bracings, developed by master luthier Andy Powers, give the instrument superior projection, better tonal balance, optimized intonation and remarkable sustain. The Grand Auditorium or 000 size is the consensus. In an ideal intermediate position between the Grand Concert (00 Classical style) and the essential Dreadnought, it combines ergonomics and tonal balance.
