This Grand Auditorium electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with cutaway features an Adirondack Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.

Abundant in the 1930s, when it was used extensively for the soundboards of Martin guitars,"Red Spruce" or "Adirondack" Spruce (Picea Rubens) enjoys enormous popularity. More dense than common Spruce, Adirondack Spruce is exceptionally responsive. It also has the rare quality of retaining a muffled sound when the instrument is intensely attacked. Naturally, it benefits from the V-Class dams, which represent a significant evolution in the field of acoustic guitar. These innovative bracings, developed by master luthier Andy Powers, give the instrument superior projection, tonal balance, optimized intonation and remarkable sustain. The Grand Auditorium or 000 size is the consensus. In an ideal intermediate position between the Grand Concert (00 Classical style) and the essential Dreadnought, it combines ergonomics and tonal balance.
