The TAYLOR American Dream AD24CE (Shaded Edgeburst Matte) steel-string acoustic guitar is the first model in the American Dream range to be offered in the Grand Auditorium size, featuring a solid Tropical Mahogany top, a solid Sapele back and side duo, an Eucalyptus fingerboard and V-Class bracing, representing a significant evolution in the acoustic guitar world. The Grand Auditorium or 000 size is the consensus. In an ideal intermediate position between the Grand Concert (00 Classical style) and the essential Dreadnought, it combines ergonomics and tonal balance. Developed by master luthier Andy Powers, the V-Class bracing gives the instrument enhanced projection, remarkable tonal balance, clearly improved intonation and incredible sustain.

Sapele is a perfect substitute for Mahogany, both in appearance and sound, though noticeably more crystalline due to its slightly greater hardness. The high density and hardness of Eucalyptus exacerbates the clarity of every note. What's more, it's extremely pleasant to the touch and has a most attractive appearance. Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: in order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor several years to develop the Expression System (ES). Thanks to new sensors and a substantially reworked circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even greater responsiveness and dynamics, and according to Taylor, around 25% more warmth.
