The MARTIN & CO Custom Shop Dreadnought CS-D-C22025670 #2736835 is a 14-fret Dreadnought-style steel-string acoustic guitar, with Sitka spruce top, Honduras rosewood back and sides, and Ebony fingerboard (all species are of course solid and selected with the greatest intransigence for their acoustic and aesthetic qualities).
Sitka spruce is the traditional choice for the vast majority of acoustic guitars. Thanks to a perfect balance between robustness and elasticity, Sitka generates a direct, punchy sound with impeccable articulation. These characteristics give this species great tonal flexibility and adaptability to virtually any playing style: strumming, flatpicking or fingerpicking.
