- VOLUME: Controls output volume. Tip: The output level is at its highest, especially when the gain is high. Really loud.
- GAIN: Adjusts input signal level. Increasing it increases fragmentation. At high levels, it brings soft clipping/compression to the signal.
- Tip: With gain and volume turned down, Deathscream can be too loud. We recommend finding a balance between these two controls. For a clearer signal, turn down the gain and lower the volume. This method is ideal for amplifying a tube amp with its own overdrive, and the Deathscream becomes a powerful sound modeller. For the pedal to produce its own clipping and overdrive, increase the gain and adjust the output level with the volume knob.
- TONALITY: Controls the level of high frequencies. The center point is neutral: clockwise accentuates high frequencies, counter-clockwise attenuates them.
